Wife of the late Philip Wachita Githiti of Gichiche village, Chinga Location, Othaya Sub County. Daughter of the late Betsoben Njogu Ndei and LoiseWangu Njogu. Daughter in law of the late senior chief Gichiu Wachira and Wangechi Gichu. Mothers of the late Godfrey Gachichio, Sarah Wachira, Mwaniki Wachira, Mwai Wachira, Muhoro Wachira, the late Robert Gachichio, David Maro, Eva Wangari, Reigina Wamuyu, Jacinta Wanjiru, Wangechi and Gathoni. The cortege is lying at the MP Shah Hospital. Prayers and burial arrangement meetings are taking place at Millennium 2000 Hotel – Duruma Road Nyamakima and Anchor Bistro Doonholm from 6pm.

Patricia Syevutha Mulinge

1960 – 2017

It is with heavy heart and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Patricia Syebutha Mulinge which occurred on Friday 10th February 2017. Dear wife of Benjamin Mulinge, daughter of the late John Mwanga and Jedidah Ndumi.

Loving mum of Mary Katula, Charles Mwendwa, Winfred Ndumi and Ann Mueni. Sister of Jennifer Monicah, Bridgit Katunge and the late Mulang’a Mwanga. Mother in law of Jonathan Muthanga, Julia Wairimu, Solomon Kimutai and Stephen Mbonge.

Daughter in law of the late Masindano Kavivya and Annah Mueni. She was blessed with seven grandchildren; Patricia, Brighton, Elizabeth, Brandon, Angel, Patience and Abishag. Auntie to many and wedding mother to four families.

 

David Wahome Mwangi

1980 – 2017

Son of the late Anna Wamuyu Mwangi and James Mwangi Muriuki of Kahawa Sukari. Father of Erin and James Mwangi. Brother of Paul Muriuki (PJ), Esther Wanjiru (USA) and Timothy Muhindi Mwangi (Kenya). Brother-in-law of Rose Muriuki and James Thuo. Grandson of the late John Muriuki Githungo of Ngorano Nyeri County and the late Mr and Mrs Githinji Wanjau. Nephew of the Muriukis and Githinjis. Uncle and cousin of many.

The cortege bearing the remains of John-Dan wilt leave the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary also known as New Nyanza Provincial General Hospital on Friday 17th February 2017 at 2.00 pm for the family residence in Tom Mboya Estate-Kisumu off the Kisumua-Kakamega Road on Omori Resa Road Number 23.

There will be a wake on Friday followed by an interment service on Saturday 18 February 2017 starting at 10.00 am. The interment will be held at the Mamboleo Cemetery Kisumu at 2.30pm (14.30 EAT).

Wilmot Rotuno Kaptum

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Wilmot Rotuno Kaptum on 8th February, 2017 in a tragic hit and run road accident along Nakuru-Eldama Ravine highway. He was, born on 19.01.2002 and was a student at AIC Chebisaas Boys’ School in Eldoret until his demise. Loving son of Chief Inspector Isaac Kimutus, OCS Sagana, and Clara Kimutus (Keletwa Farm). Brother of Nancy Kaptum, Carlos Kaptum, Titus Kaptum, Kevin Kaptum, Onesmus Kaptum and Cliff Kaptum. Grandson of the late Paul Chesumat (British) Kumutus and Sogome and Chesumos. Nephew of the Kwonyike and Chelimo families among others. Cousin of many.

The cortege leaves Valley Hospital Mortuary, Nakuru at 10am on Saturday 18th February, 2017. The burial service will begin at 11.30a.m. at Ketelwa farm.

He will be greatly missed by the entire family and friends.

Meetings are being held at his son’s house (Plainsview Estate, Guthera Drive House No 885) and the Railways Club from 5-7pm from Wednesday February 15, 2017. A mini harambee will be held on February 17th 2017 and a major harambee on Tuesday February 21st 2017 at the Railway Club.

Grandmother and a great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her Kangaita home daily from 4.00pm – 6.00pm and at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Annex, 7th Floor – Nairobi from Wednesday to Friday from 6.00pm – 7.30pm.
