We regret to announce the death of Meresa Auma Okudo of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Natural Resources – Nairobi City County which occurred at Mater Hospital Nairobi on 30/01/2017 after a brave battle with renal complications. Wife of Nicholas Ojiema Okudo of Securex Agencies hailing from Wagwe Kobiero and co-wife of Esther Akinyi of Buru Buru Girls. Mother of Jeff William Okudo of Boma International College and Raymond Bonga Okudo of Agoro Sare. Step mother of Fay, John of Kenya School of Law, Kevin and Keith of KU. Daughter of the late Everest Achieng Okulo and Mama Consolata Nyambok of Kokoth Kataa. Sister of Salome of Getrude’s Hospital, Macbeth of Sky City, Engineer Robert Achieng of EAC, Roseline of Delmonte, Ajeko and Felix of KK Security. Cousin of George Ngoge, Ken, Luke, David, Edward, Margaret, Nyakiti, Carol, Susan, Bernadette, Pastor Odeny, Aduwo and Professor Onditi of USIU. Niece of Dismas Ngoge, Joseph Buong, Ex-Senior Chief Peter Ogwang’, Lucia, Martha, Hellen Ali, Mercela Ogalo, Margaret and Jane. Granddaughter of Frida (Atwech), Mzee Okudo, Kesia Aremo, Pesila and Salome. In law of Joshua, Thomas, Oluoch, Isaac, Ogolla, James, David, Odhiambo, Grace, Esther and Flora. Auntie of Alice, Brian, Cecilia, Sheila, Belinda, Desmond, Travis, Stephanie, Miriam, Byron, Roselyn and Bonga.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital mortuary for an overnight vigil at their home in Ruai Kamulu on 15/02/2017. The following day proceed to Oyugi Kasimba, Karachuonyo South where she will be laid to rest.
