Naomi Wairimu Macheru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear mum, Naomi Wairimu Macheru on 10th February 2017 after a short illness. Wife of the late Macheru Kuraru. Daughter of the late Ngunyi Wagaki and the late Lucy Nyaguthie (Wakabuthu). Sister of Nderitu. Ngunyi and the late Mutua Ngunyi. Mother of Retired Senior Chief James Kuraru, Margaret Ndegwa, Purity Wang’ombe, the late Teresia Muchemi, Stephen Wachira, Elder Charles Maina, Janet Kanyari, Rosemary Wang’ombe and George Mwangi. Grandmother and a great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her Kangaita home daily from 4.00pm – 6.00pm and at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Annex, 7th Floor – Nairobi from Wednesday to Friday from 6.00pm – 7.30pm.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Motuary, Nyeri, on Saturday 18th February 2017 at 9:30am.The funeral service will be held at PCEA Kangaita Church at 10:30 am and thereafter burial at her home at Kangaita.
