Brother of the late Godfrey Tetu Wainaina, Margaret Wangari Njubi, Albert Kiromo and Daniel Hinga. Son-in-law of the late Stanley Kimani and Faith Wanjiku of Kagaa village, Kahuro District, Murang’a County.

The cortege leaves the Umash Funeral home-Nairobi on 12th April 2017 at 8.30am for a funeral service at ACK Enoomatasiani Parish, Matasia, starting from 10.30am.The burial will follow thereafter at his home in Matasia.

 It is with humble acceptable of God’s will that the Diocese of Embu announces the untimely demise of Rev. Fr. John Peter Mugendi on 5th April, 2017.

Son of Elias Nyaga and the late Beata Marigu. Brother of James Njagi, Francis Njiru, George Kithinji, the late Grace Murugi and Mary Wanjira.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his parents’ home in Njeruri-Kyeni.

The Requiem Mass will be on 10th of April at Mutuobare Parish at 3pm.

The cortege will leave St. Raphael Mortuary Consolata Hospital Kyeni on Tuesday 11th April 2017 at 2pm for vigil Mass at Kyeni Parish at 3pm.

The funeral Mass will be on Wednesday 12th of April, 2017 at Saint Peter and Paul Cathedral Karurina at 10am and thereafter the interment

of his remains at Clergy graveyard in the Cathedral grounds.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Benson Mithamo and Mama Esther Wanjira Mithamo. Step daughter of Beth Ruguru Mithamo. Daughter-in-law of the late Njue Ngano and Mama Jessica Njue. Loving mother of Sharon L. Mukami Njeru of Cheriz Properties Co. Ltd Nairobi and Chris Ngumo Njeru (student at KMTC Nyeri). Son-in-law of the late Mzee Epanaito Migundo and Mama Tabia Migundo of Sakwa Awendo, and Mzee Samuel Omondi and Mama Zilpah Omondi of Nyakach Kasaye. Loving father of Caroline, Nixon, the late Gordon, Josephine Oguta, Sheila, Jim, Sam, the late Lewid, Laura, Lamech, and Lynn. Grandfather of Dorcas, Linet, Barbara, Clinton, Conrad, Calvin, Dorcas, Sylvia, Noelle, Jachine,Tahlia, Dawit, Naomi, Jonathan, Abraham, Hawi and Isaac.
