Imelda Jane Atandi Soire

21st September 1956 – 30th March 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Imelda Jane Atandi Soire. Beloved wife of Meshack Atandi Soire. Loving mother of Judy Atandi (Mombasa), Caroline Atandi (USA), Dr. Sam Atandi (Nyamira Referal Hospital), and Evans Atandi (Philippines).

Daughter of the late Samuel Ouya and Juliana Moraa Ouya and sister of Mellen, Kemuma, the late Monica, Charles, and her twin Barongo.

Daughter-in-law of the late Dickson Soire and the late Peris Nyanduko. Sister-in-law of Wilkister and Samuel, Jeremiah and Agnes, the late Hellene and Timothy, Samson and Mary Getui, Nathan and Agnes, Rachael and Mochama. Mother-in-law, aunt and grandmother of many. Korera of the Morondis, Wambugus and Okaris.

Family and friends are meeting in Kericho at Rehabilitation Centre on Sunday 10th April from 5pm for a fundraiser and at Kisii Hotel on 6th April from 5pm. There is also a prayer service that will be held in Karen at the Getui’s home on Sunday 9th April at 3.00 pm.

There is a regular daily meeting at Bonyando village at the Soire homestead from 5 pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on the 10th of April at 6:30am to Kericho for a prayer service at the Sunrise SDA Church then proceed to Kisii.

Burial is going to be held at her home in Bonyando, Bonchari constituency in Kisii County from 10 am on the 11^th April 2017.
