Father of the late Thomas, Ambrose Kwale (NCWSC), Andrew (Principal Mang’elu), Emily (JKUAT), Francis Musembi (Univ of Eldoret) and James (Kitamwiki). Father-in-law of Bretta, Doris, Lillian, Benrogers Mulewa, and Agnes. Grandfather of Purity, Grace Kavata,Adrian Kwale, Gregory Kwale, Glen Muchuma, Paul, Muinde,Tony, Nelly, Yvonne, among others. Brother of Musili Mati, Kitunguu, Mwandikwa, Nzau, Late Masai among others. Uncle of the late Ann Kanoni, Mutinda, Mati, Mutua Ngene, Florence Kavata, Kinyua Musyoki among others. Teacher and mentor to many. Friends and relatives and meeting at his home at Mutanda Village, Kabati at Panari hotel, and Nairobi at the Holy Family Basilica. Loving wife of Julius Mburugu M’Mwongera. Daughter of M’Itonga and Kellen Kajuju M’Twaruciu. Mother of the late Douglas Muthee, Nancy Kinanu, Hariet Gakii,Winfred Kiende Kimathi, Evans Murithi, Nicholas Muriungi, George Muthomi and Martin Murungi. Mother-in-law of Joseph Nteere, the late Catherine Muthee, Fredrick Kimathi, Mercy Kathure, Ruth Gakii and Judy Mumbi. Daughter-in-law of Gideon M’Mwongera and Sabella Karoki. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are meeting at the Silver Spoon (San Valencia) Anniversary Towers, Nairobi on Tuesday 30thMay 2017 and Wednesday 31st May 2017 and daily at home, Githongo Meru at 5.30 pm for burial arrangements. She will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd June 2017 at home, Githongo Meru.
