Isabella Mugure Gikuno

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of retired elder PCEA (Ruaraka Parish) Mrs. Isabella Mugure Gikuno on 20th March 2017 which occurred after a short illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Dishon Rukwaro Gikuno, daughter of the late Eutychus Rukuri and the late Elsie Wathua. Mother of Patricia Gathigia of Transport and Infrastructure HQ, Stephen Rukwaro (a.k.a Steve Biko), Nancy Nyambura, Olive Wanjiku (Tile & Carpet-Nbi), Michael Mwangi of Chandaria Industries and Andrew Kanja. Sister of Nelius Pere (Rongai), Maina Rukuri, late Mbuthia Kigunda, the late Robert Wachira, Agnes Gathumbi (Kayole), Ndurumo Rukuri, Festus Njeru and Danson Ndani.

Sister in-law of the late Kanja Gikuno (KGR) & Hannah Kanja, the late Richard Pere and late James Gathumbi. Mother in-law of the late Simon Njung’e and Agatha Njeri.

Cucu of the late Kakush, Maggie (UK), Jill, Audrey, Yasmin, Toonie, Angie, Jose, Ashley, Kwach and Leon. Great grandmother of Natalie, Morgan, Eugene, Tasha, Kaylee,Tyrell, Rubi and Chidi. Aunty of VVambui Pere, Franco Njukia, Moses Miano among many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence Lucky Summer Ruaraka and at Highlands Platinum Restaurant next to Kenya Cinema, Conference Hall from 6.30pm.

The cortege leaves Ruaraka Neema Uhai Funeral Home on Tuesday 28th March 2017 at 7.30am. Burial will be held at Wamagana -Tetu, Nyeri County on the same day.

Eternal rest grant her O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon her. Amen
