It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Alfred Nteere Mugambi On 22nd April 2016, at MP Shah Hospital Nairobi.
Loving husband of Mrs. Loise Nteere, formerly of Global Fund Unit – Ministry of Health, Nairobi. Father of Doreen Nteere, Regional Business Connection Ltd., Mary Nteere of KPMG and Christine Nteere Student at USIU. Grandfather of Haley Wairimu of Riara Road Primary School. Son of the late Joel M’mugambi (Gachaura) & the late Karuki, Nduru, and the late Salome. Brother of Mwobobia & the late Susan, Magaju & Sabella, Nkirote & Mugambi, the late Mburugu & the late Susan, Gacheri, Murithi & Joyce, Gatwiri & Manyore, Karuru & Mbae, Zipporah, and Aaron & Muthoni. Son-in-law of the the late Musa M’itunga and Mariam M’itunga. Brother-in-law of the late Raibu and Hellen,Agnes Itunga, Margaret and the late Mwebia, Florence and Murithi, Kinoti and Gakii, Nkatha, Mwenda and Harriet. Uncle of many.
Funeral meetings are being held every day at his Westlands home, Mua Park (next to Aga Khan High School) Waiyaki Way starting at 5.30pm and at his rural home in Riiji village, (Githongo), Meru County. Family and friends will also meet at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday 25th April and Wednesday 26th April 2017 from 5.30pm.The Nairobi church service will be held at Lavington United Church, on Thursday, 27th April, 2017 at 12.00 noon. The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 28th April 2017 at 6.00am. The funeral service will be held on the same day at Githongo Methodist Church, Meru County starting at 10.00am, and thereafter, the body will be laid to rest at his home in Riiji village, Githongo, Meru County.
