Apollo Mwangi Gituro (Ndagitari)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Apollo Mwangi Gituro (Ndagitari) of Kirimukuyu Clinic,Wariruta (formally of P.G.H. Nyeri) on 15th July, 2017 at Tumutumu hospital.

Son of the late Isaiah Gituro Kigotho and Esther Muthoni Gituro of Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County. Husband of Elsie Wangari Apollo. Father of Irene Mwangi (MSA), Patrick Gituro (Gatiko), Nicholas Gathambo (Timau), Catherine Ngunyi (C.B.K), Anthony Kigotho (AUS), Linda Mwangi (MSA), Susan Maingi (NRB). Brother of Simon Githinji (Kiserian) and Wanjiku Mwaniki (Matuto) and the late Thiong’o, Gichuki, Gathogo, Wanja and Kiiru. Uncle of Gituros and Kigothos of Mbari ya Thairu, Mutahi,Wahome, Eutecus (Euty),Wanja (Narok) and Macharia (Nrb) among others. Grandfather of Amina, the late Abubakar,Anwar, King’uku, Nyagathiri, Njeri (AUS), Apollo Mwangi, Njoroge, Wangari, Samuel Mwangi, Joel Memusi and Silia (Narok). Great grandfather of Aaron and Jasmine among many more. Father-in-law of Grace Gathambo, Stephen Ngunyi, Charity Kigotho, Christopher Njoroge, and Maingi Maina.

Meetings are being held at his Gatiko home, Kirimukuyu Location, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Tumutumu Mission Mortuary on Saturday, 22nd July, 2017 at 9: 00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at his home in Gatiko.
