It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Arnoda Akelo Mackonya, retired teacher Kinyasaga School, Kaksingri Suba. Wife of Solomon Mackonya Otieno of Kakiimba Mfangano.

Daughter-in-law of the late Otieno Manyala and Margaret. Co-wife of Claryce. Mother of Millicent, the late Mboya, Enock, Bicko, Irene, Grace, Awino, Nancy, Sharon, Eugin, Ruth and John.

Daughter of ElekiaYala Okulo and Isabela Okumu of Kamalumbe Asembo. Sister-in-law of Seko, Ogweno, Mbeo, Daudi, Andrew among others. Sister of Josephine, the late Pius, Leonida., Oleko.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Funeral Home – Nairobi – on Wednesday 31^st May, 2017 at 6.00am. Funeral service and burial will take place on 2nd June, 2017 at Kinyasaga village, Kaksingri West Location, Suba from 10.00am.

There will be a funds drive to offset her medical bill on Thursday 25th May as from 5pm, at All Saints Cathedral.
