It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Beatrice Gathoni Wambugu on 25/04/2017 at Mukurwe-ini Sub-County Hospital, Nyeri.
Wife of the late Peter Wambugu Kairu. Mother of Peter Maina of Kiawara, Lucy Wambiu of Kiawara, Joseph Gatibi of Nairutia, Mwangi Wambugu of Swajo Kamukunji, Tito Macharia of Nyamakima and Wambugu Samuel Wanjau of the National Treasury, Nairobi.
Mother-in-law of Muthoni Maina, Cecilia Gatibi, Salome Mwangi, Irene Macharia and Jane Wanjau. Grandmother of Muthoni, Njoki, Wachira, Wambugu, Gathoni, Mwangi, Zawerio, Peter, George, Kairu, Wanjuki, Njeri, Beatrice, Kevin, Lucy, Stephen, Caroline and Brian.
Clan members of Ruthi are meeting at Munyaka Bar, River Road, from 6:30p.m – 8.00p.m on 28/4/2017, 1/5/2017 and on 2/5/2017.
Friends, clan members of Maigwa and relatives are meeting at Abbey Hotel, Gaborone Road from 6:00p.m – 8:00p.m on 28/4/2017, 01/05/2017 and on 2/5/2017. Another group of friends will meet on Monday, 01/05/2017 and on Tuesday 02/05/2017 at Star Mall, Kamukunji from 6.00pm – 8.00pm..
The cortege will leave Mukurwe-ini Sub-County Hospital, Nyeri on Wednesday 3/5/2017 at 9.00a.m.
The funeral service will be held on the same day at Karindi AIPCA Church at 11.00a.m. There after she will be laid to rest at 2:00pm at her home in Nyakahuho village Karindi Sub-Location, Gikondi location, Mukurwe-ini Sub-County, Nyeri County.

I miss you! When we would all surprise you by visiting you at your little 🛖 and helping cook food..laugh, run around !play around, go to the river get arrow roots , carry them uphill in a sack… good days with you..start the fire blow ashes all over the kitchen trying to do what we weren’t good at! But acting like we did know, to cater to you during our visits..miss you indeed.
