Benson Mwaniki Karanja (Wachiuri)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Benson Mwaniki Karanja (Wachiuri) of Ndiara-Kimotho Village, Kanderendu Sub-location, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County on Saturday, 4th March 2017.

Son of the late Karanja Mucheru and the late Keziah Wambui Karanja. Husband of Rose Wanjiru Mwaniki, father of Paul Karanja, Nancy Wambui, Daniel Mwangi, Beth Wairimu, Faith Wanjiku, Ruth Wangari, Alice Wanjiku, Margaret Gathoni and Esther Mukami. Brother of George Mwangi Karanja (formerly of KARI / KALRO), James Muchiri Karanja (KALRO-Thika), Jane Wangari Mwangi (Ardhi House), Elias Marina Karanja (MA-Thika) and Margaret Njoki Mungai (Jogoo House). Father-in-law of Gikuma, Kibaya, Kanyuru, Kiama and Kiragu, and grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his Ndiara-Kimotho home daily at 3p.m.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 8.00 am for a graveside service and burial at his Ndiara-Kimotho home, Kanderendu sub-location, near Ndakaini Dam, at 10.00 am.
