It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Caroline Wangari Mwando after a short illness. Daughter of Mr. Samuel Kabugi Njuguna and Jane Wanjiku Njuguna. Loving wife of Joseph Slovo Mwando. Doting mother of baby Praise Neema. Sister of Brenda Wairimu, Kelvin Kabugi and Emmah Waruguru. Daughterain-law of Margaret Mwando. Cousin of Thomas Maina, Dennis Kimemia, Netius Wairimu, John Kamau, Nyambura Kamau, Wangechi Kabuti, Ndekere Kabuti and Nyambura Kabuti. Auntie of Jayda Waithera Maina.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her father’s home at Ngangarithi village, Nyeri from 4.00pm and at her husband’s house at Kericho High School staff quarters.

The cortege leaves Siloam Hospital Mortuary, Kerich, on Friday 20th January, 2017 at 2.00pm for an overnight stay and interment the following day (Saturday 21st January, 2017) at their rural home, Enyaita Village, Ebusakami Sub-Location, Bunyore South Location, Vihiga County.

Carol, you were strong and you kept the faith to the last minute.
