It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden demise of Gabriel Ndiege Ounda on Tuesday, 4th May 2021. He hailed from Suba District, Kaksingri West, Ragwe Village.

He was the son of Thomas Ndiege Ounda and the Late Elizabeth Akinyi Ndiege. Son in-law to the Late James Karabu Kimani and Jane Wanjiru Kimani. A loving husband to Joan Muthoni Kimani. He was a doting father to Elaine Akinyi Ndiege, Gabriella Muthoni and Lamar Ounda. Loving brother to Maurine Juliet Ndiege, Trizah Atsango Ndiege, Mary Ombinya Ndiege, Quinter Anyango Ndiege.

Brother in law of Kennedy Aroko, Peter Odera, Georgia Ogolla, Oivind Nafstad, Jack Karabu Kimani. He was a loving uncle to Trinny Talia, Nikita Mitchell, Ellah Grace, Liz Laysley, Britney Njeri, Liz Kimberly, Maryline Adeno, Junior Kennedy Aroko, Odin Ndiege Nafstad, Livia Nafstad, Della Merkel and Dexter Jakes.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at the family residence in Milimani, Mbita, Homabay County.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 15th May 2021 at Ragwe Village, Kaksingiri West.

The Catholic Diocese of Kakamega regrets to announce the death of Rev. Fr, Moses Muricho Khakina, which occurred 6th May 2021 at Mater Misericordiae Hospital – Nairobi. Before his death, he was serving at St. Anne’s Parish Eshisiru, Kakamega as Assistant priest.

Son of the late Stephen Kwoba and with Pauline Naliaka Kwoba. Brother of Maurice Wamalwa Kha!dna, Joseph Wamoto Khakina, Jenipher Nafuna suite Khakina, Ruth Nafula Khakina, Jackylyn Nanjala Khakina, John Barasa Khakina, Lilian Nakhumicha Khakina, Erick Namajanja Khakina, Hellen Nasimiyu, Stella Nekoye of Muruli C location, Moi’s bridge Sub-Location, Nzoia Location, Likuyani sub county in Kakamega County.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Hospital, Mukumu, on 17th May,2021, for requiem mass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Kakamega at 2:00pm.

The funeral mass and burial will be at St. Peter’s Minor Seminary, Mukumu grounds, on 18th May, 2021, at 10:00am. Please NOTE all the Ministry of health protocols will STRICTLY be adhered to.

Brother of Edigna Mkafundi Owino, Catherine Yaya Mutiso, the late Clement Kaula,Sr.Assumpta Kaula,Angelica Mukoshi, Noel W. Kaula, Celestine Mwakio, Josephine Manila, Jacinta Nzioka, Eve Muema,Adam N Kaula, Salome Muchiri, Mariana Matheka, Leonida Tausi Kyatha, AnneMarie Wasilwa, Elizabeth Kaunda, and Susan Nduku. A cherished nephew to several aunts, and a brother-in-law and uncle of many.

The cortege will leave Kilome funeral home (Emali), on Saturday 15th May, 2021, 8.30am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Kalimbini (off Mombasa–Nairobi Highway) Sultan Hamud.

Services to celebrate Dr. John Badia’s life will be as follows. Thursday 20th May, 2:30pm at CITAM Karen, Nairobi; Friday 21st May, 11:00 a,m at St.. Stephen’s Cathedral, Kisumu; Saturday 22nd May, 10:00 a.m at St Augustine’s Chapel, Yimbo.

Burial will take place at his family’s ancestral home in Yimbo on Saturday, 22nd May 2021.
