It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Rev. Lucy Wairimu Irungu.

Daughter of Benjamin Muhia and Mary Mbaire of Ngutu Karung’e Mathioya. Loving wife of Bishop George Peter Irungu Kariuki (Christian Foundation Fellowship CFF Murang’a Diocese). Caring mother of Joy Nyambura (Premier Credit Finance, Nairobi) and Eng. Peter Mwangi, Moses Kariuki (Meru University) and Grolia Njeri (Kahuhia Girls). Sister of Jane, Muhia, Mbogo, Ndung’u and Wambui.

Daughter-in-law of Geoffrey Kariuki and Lucy Njeri of Mang’u Kabarak Nakuru. Sister-in-love of the late Bernard Mwangi, Ann Wangui, Elizabeth Wanjiku, Joseph Kimotho, Timothy Gataua, Rev. Stephen Maina, Priscilla Wangari and Regina Wambui.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Jambo Village Hotel Murang’a for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 12th May, 2021, at CFF Murang’a, from 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Kabati Funeral Home on Thursday 13th May, 2021, for a burial service at Mumbi stadium, Murang’aTown. She will later be laid to rest at her home in Majoyce Village, Mukuyu Murang’a.

Father to Jane (KIRDI) & Peter Muturi, Michael & Florick Mungai, Joyce Nyambura (NHIF Naivasha), John &Teresia Ngugi, NellieWanjiku, James & Eunice Kimani.

Brother of Nellie Wanjiku (Kiserian), Keziah Wamutitu (Eldoret), Mary Warimi (Ngorika) James Ngugi (Kangunjo), George SN Mungai (New York), Ann Kimani (Matasia). Grandfather to Eric (Qatar) Dennis & Sheila, Alex & Carol (USA), Ian, Esther & Tony, Lauryn, Sharon, Lannet, Eddie, Keith, Roy, Allen, Collins, Vivian, Jamin, Zemira, Davies and Darius. Great grandfather to Taji and Zena.

The cortege leaves St Teresa Mortuary, Kikuyu on Friday 14th May. 2021 at 9:00 am. Funeral service will be held at ACK Emmanuel Kibiku at 11:00 a.m. thereafter burial will take place at his home next to Kibiku Police Station near Wangige Market.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Pastor Lilian Waihoini Mwebia, that occurred on 9th May 2021, at Consolata Mission Hospital Nkubu.

Beloved wife to Bishop Eric Mwebia Kaburia. Daughter to the Late David Warui Mwaura and the Late Elizabeth Wangechi Warui of Nakuru County. Mother to Kevin Mutugi Mwebia (Baraka credit), Eng. Paul Mwenda Mwebia, Asaph Kimathi Mwebia, and Liz Kendi Mwebia. She was a grandmother to Dylan, Nkatha, Chloe, Joe and an Aunt to many. Daughter in law to the Late Moses Kaburia and Mrs. Josephine Kaburia of Mweru location, lgoji East, Imenti South.

Sister to Samuel Mwaura, Dr. Symon Njuguna (St Elizabeth Medical Centre Nakuru), Josphat Munyua, Crispus Muthui, Daniel Njathi, Tabitha Nganga, Ruth Njeri, Hannah Macharia, all of Subukia, and Esther Wangari (Menengai high school). Sister-in-law to Terry Kaburia (U.K), George Kaburia (Agent Mt Kenya Milk), Lucy Ominde (Tata chemicals Magadi Ltd), Michael Kaburia (Metrics Capital Ltd) and Irene Kaburia (Middle East Bank).

Until her demise she was the Deputy Principal Iruma Girls high school In Tharaka Nithi County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her staff residence, Iruma Girls’ High school, Muriba, at the Late Moses Kaburia’s home in Mweru Igoji East, and at Pentecostal Evangel life church Polepole Chogoria.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Mortuary Nkubu on Friday 14th May 2021 at 8:00a.m, for the funeral service at Mweru Chief’s offices grounds, lgoli East, Meru County, and interment at Muriba village.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Alfred Mwathi Gituku (Karaba Sec. Sch) and Mrs. Eunice Njoki Mwathi (Mariakani Pri. Sch, Nyahururu) through a tragic road accident along Nyahururu Nyeri Road on 08/05/2021.

Eunice is wife of the late Mr. Mwathi. Eunice is daughter of Prisca Wakiuru and the late John Mahinge. Eunice is sister of Wanjiru Wambonu, Anthony Nyamu, Virginia Mwihaki, Magdaline Gathoni, Joseph Kangethe and Boniface Gitahi.

Alfred is Son of Annah Wangechi and the late George Nyamu. Alfred is husband of the late Eunice Alfred is brother of Moses and Beatrice Ngatia, Joseph and Angeline Ngunguru, Mary and Ephantus Mugo and Elizabeth Wambui.

They are parents of George Mathenge (KEMU), Dennis Mahinge (JKUAT) and Esther Wangechi (BG Ngandu). They are aunt, uncle and cousins to many.

The cortege leaves Mary Immaculate Hospital Mortuary Muiga Nyeri on Thursday 13/05/2021 at 8:00am. Burial will follow at their home Wiyumiririe at 10:00am.

Joyce, Mary, Josiah, Patrick, Rev. Ngei, Rhodah, John, George, Geoffrey, Faith, Jacob and Dennis. Brother-in-law of Peter, Dickson and John Mbugua.

He will be laid to rest at his home in Ilawani Village, Kimakiu Location, Mukaa Sub-county, Makueni County on Friday 14th May, 2021.
