Grandmother to King’ori, Mwangi, Shirleen, Abraham, Blessing,Amina, Beka, Jeremy, Bushie,Tamara, Mike, Shi-ku, Noah, Erica, Elsa and Elena. Great-grand mother to Nduati. Sister-in-law to Wairimu, Irungu, Kamau, Soja and Kirzigu. Auntie to many.

Funeral Service will be held at AIPCA church Wanjengi, Muranga and thereafter laid to rest at her home in Wanjengi, Weithaga location Murang’a, on Friday 14th May 2021.

Funeral planning and prayer meetings are taking place at his Ruai residence daily from 5.00pm.

On Friday 14th May the cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Horne at 8:30arn for St. Peter Catholic Parish – Ruai, for a church service from 11.00arn, followed by a burial ceremony at the family home in Ruai Nairobi.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. James Mwololo Mbwika, who went to be with the Lord on 6th May 2021 after a short illness while working as the Chief of Party for ACDI-VOCA in Nigeria. James also served as a member of Makueni County Budget & Economic Forum. Before meeting his untimely death, Mr. Mbwika was in the process of being evacuated to Nairobi Hospital from Nigeria where he was undergoing treatment

He was a loving husband to Alice Mwololo of the National Treasury, and doting father to Ian Mbwika Mwololo, Kevin Machana Mwololo and Becky Nziva Mwololo

He was a devoted father to his family, full of love and compassion to his extended family, loyal to his friends and the workmates he spent his life with: all bearing witness of the diligent and humble life he lived.

He was the son of the Late Mbwika Ngolanie and the Late Mary Nziva Mbwika, and son-In law to the late Macharu Theuri and Milka Gathoni. A brother to the late Muunda, Anna Mbula, Regina Munaa.Tabitha Muinde and Francisca Kalekye Mbwika. A stepbrother to the late Mulemba Mbwika, Late Mbithi Mbwika, Late Mwanthi Mbwika, Late Samuel Mbwika, Kamimila Mbwika, late Kavuu Mbwika and Kamenwa Mbwika. He was brother-in-law to Patricia Wayua, Charity Macharia, Joyce Waringa, David Maina, Geoffrey Muriithi, James Ndiritu and Anne Nyawira.
