It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the Nyamundhe family, announce the promotion to glory of Mama Mary Auma Ochuodho on 29th July, 2019 at Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu.

Daughter of the late Mzee Edward Osulla Odongo and Mama Grace Achola Osulla of Kano Kobura Ong’eche School. Wife of late William Ochuodho Nyamundhe.

Mother of Janet Kinda (USA), Monica Nyamundhe of Vihiga County (Agriculture), Martha Okelo (National Oil), Margaret Adhiambo (formerly of Nigeria High Commission), Michael Ochuodho (Kisumu). Edward Ochuodho (formerly of HF Group), Elizabeth Adongo of Phexfider International and the late Phelgona Akoth.

Sister of Fredrick Osulla, Daniel Osulla, Margaret Ndede, Florence Orongo, Lorna Nyamwala, the late Gad Osulla, Rashid Osulla, Geoffrey Osulla, Jared Osulla and Penina Ngutu.

Mother-in-law of Fredrick Kinda (USA), the late Habil Okelo Raduma, the late Peter Akoko, Susan Odhiambo and Scolastica Ochieng’.

Sister-in-law of the late Eliakim Akanda, Festus Njer, Henry Okoth, Patrick Okwengu, Washington Were, Winston Opiyo and Hannington Odongo.

Grandmother of Abigael Kinda, Kenneth Akoko, Atieno Okelo Williams, Raphael Onyango, Meryle Atieno, Michael Otieno and Kimberly Ochieng among others. She has left behind 12 great-grandchildren. An aunt of George Ongaya, Edward Njer, Eric Omondi, Henry Were among others.

Relatives and friends are meeting at her home in Kasagam, Kisumu, for prayers and funeral arrangements from 2:00pm – 4.00pm daily.

A main fundraising is on Friday, 9th August, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, from 5:00pm. The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on Friday, 16th August, 2019 at 12:00pm for funeral service at KAG Church along Ring Road. Burial will be on Saturday, 17th August, 201 9 at her home in Nyalenda, Kasagam, Kisumu County.

The cortege leaves Kakamega TRH mortuary on 8/8/2019 and the burial will be at his home, Ebwambwa Village, Kakamega county on 10/8/2019.

The cortege will leave Migori County Referral Hospital Mortuary on Monday, 12th August at 12: 00 noon, followed by a memorial service at St Titus Catholic Church at 4:00 pm.

Mama will be laid to rest on 13/8/2019 at Ting’na village, Osogo Parish, Migori County after a Requiem Mass.
