It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Catherine Waguthi Gitahi (Nyina Miiri). Loving wife of the late Gitahi Githogori of Biricha, Gataragwa, Kieni East which occurred on 25/6/2017.

Co-wife to late Gladys Nduta and Mary Wairimu. Loving mother to Glandstone Githogori, Peter Nderitu,Wilson Mariu, Susan Wambui, Francis Wambugu, Christopher Ndegwa (Kerugoya) and the late Esther Muthoni. Step-mother to Moses Mbau and Reagan Muchemi Gitahi (Nairobi). Grandmother to Samuel Gitahi, Gitahi Miiri, Gitahi Kamindo, Charles Gitahi (Nanyuki —Kalalu & KPC Kiganjo-Nyeri) and many others.

The cortege leaves Mweiga Mission Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 1st July, 2017 at 8.30am and thereafter Mass and burial starting at 11.00am at her home in Biricha village, Gatarakwa Location, Kieni East Constituency, Nyeri County.
