Cecilia Njoki Kariuki
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our mother Cecilia Njoki Kariuki of Kiairathe Kangema on 11/4/2017.
Daughter of the late Mwangi Kanyungu and Margaret Wambura. Wife of the late Kariuki Tumbo. Sister of Jesse Reng’etu Mwangi (Machakos), Winnie Muthoni (Ngutu), and Emily Wairimu (Embu). Mother of John Maina (Kangema), Ejidiah Njeri (NonKopir, Kitengela), Margaret Wangare (UNDP Somalia) and Dr Mary Waiyego (Pumwani Maternity Hospital).
Mother-in-law of P K Mwangi (KRA), Dr Murithi Mwiti (UoN), and Risper Wanjeri (Kiairathe). Grandmother of Waruinu, Joan, Lisa, Nyaga, Remmy, Thairu, Kendi, Justin, Neema, Kiiru, Mwangi and Mwiti.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi at 5.30pm and at her home lrima Kangema.
The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday 20th April 2017 at 7am for a mass at Kiairathe Catholic Church and later for burial at her home lrima Kiairathe.
Mum, in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts your warmth will remain.
