Chief Inspector Phillip Kiogora Arandu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Chief Inspector Phillip Kiogora Arandu of Kenya Prisons Service – Meru Main Prison. Son of the late Peter M’tuerandu and the late Tabitha Karaigwa. Loving husband of Alice Wangui Kiogora; Caring father of Duncan Kirimi (KEMU Meru), Francis Kinyua (Nairobi West Prison), Jacinta Gakii (Nanyuki Prison) and Brian Mutethia. Father-in-law of Winfridah Juma. Adoring grandfather of Haznel Munene. Brother of the late Salome Riungu, Elizabeth Matumbi, Charles Gituma, (formerly Senior Deputy Commissioner of Prisons), Susan Mwebia (formerly Deputy Principal Meru National Polytechnic), Julia Ruchugo (formerly of Co-operative Bank), Isabella Mburugu (Buuri Sub-county, Ministry of Interior), the late John Kimaita, Monica Gacheri and Patrick M. Aranduh (SACP – Prisons Nyeri). Son-in-law of Geoffrey Chege and Lucy Chege.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Nevada Palace Hotel, Makutano Meru as from 5pm and at home Naari for burial arrangements. The cortege leaves St. Theresa Kiirua Mission Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 1^st March 2017 for funeral service at home at Miugune Village, Naari Location – Meru County.
