Dr. Charles Waweru Mwendia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of Dr. Charles Waweru Mwendia.

Son of the late Joshua Waweru and Naomi Wanjiru.

Loving husband of Miriam Wairimu Mwendia. Father of Rev. Florence Wanjiru, Dr. Solomon Waweru, Mercy Nyambura, Emma Wangari and Samuel Kinyanjui.

Brother of Mary, Rev Barnabas, Priscilla and Margaret. Step-brother of the late Kamau, late Wanjiru,Wangari, Maina, Njeri, late Njoki and Wambui.

Father in law of Mureithi, Margaret, Rev Kamau, Sylvia and Eric. He was grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at PCEA St. Andrews Nyerere-Rd Nairobi and at his residence Gatua Farm Kitale Daily from 5.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Cherang’any Hospital Mortuary Kitale on Friday 17/07/2026,8.00 am thereafter a Church Service at ACK St. Luke Cathedral Kitale and burial at his home Gatua Farm Kitale.
