Dr. Henry Ogola Aloo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Henry Ogola Aloo of KALRO (former KARI), Kibos — Kisumu County, which occurred at Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu on 8/12/2016.

Husband of the late Elizabeth Anyango Ogola and Dorcas Nekesa Ogola (Advocate, Nairobi and Vihiga). Father of Philip Eustein Ogola (Kenyatta University), Valery Alice Ogola (High Octane Engineering Ltd), Anthony Collins Ogola, John Edwin Ogola (Agoro Sare High School) and Wilson Blessings Ogola. Step father of Zebedee Sandys, Jessica Tamasha and Phanice Amani.

Son of the late Anthony Aloo Ogondi and Mama Wilkister Auma Aloo of Kamswa North Muhoroni sub county Kisumu. Step son of the late Alseba Okwaro, the late Helida Atieno, Beatrice Aduol, Mary Ochele (Kopere), the late Joyce Owaka among others. Son-in-law of the late John Odhiambo and Alice Odhiambo (Siaya), Danson Osabwa (Clovers International) and Phanice Osabwa (KNH). Brother of Thomas Aloo (Ukunda), Michael, Tom, Fredrick, Wilson, the late Joshua, the late Ruth, the late Rebecca and Carolyne, Joseph, Elly, Matthews, Ogot, the late Ochieng’, Florence, Peletia, Priscah, Dorine, Sarah, Pamela, Joan, Rose and Monicah.

Brother in law of Bether Ogada, Monica, Herine, Rachel, Mama Daniel and Millicent. Uncle of Benard, Rose, Jesse, Mark, Beverly, Tony, Augustine, Marvin, John, Luke, Faith, Arnold, Sherry, Laura, Derrick among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Kasule house/ Tido Primary school and at his home in Kajulu next to Obwolo Primary School for funeral arrangements. There will be a major harambee on Saturday December 17, 2016 at the YWCA from 4pm.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital mortuary Kisumu on Tuesday I 1.00am for a memorial service at St. Philips Tido ACK Church. Burial service will take place on Wednesday 21/12/2016 at his home in Kajulu, Obwolo School.

He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord God will wipe away tears from every eye (Isaiah 25:8)
