It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Edith Gata Kamundi,

Daughter of the late Mugwika wa Kirugi and the late Mukwanjiru Mugwika of Chogoria. Loving wife of Francis Kamundi Munyua. Daughter-in-law of the late Solomon Munyua. and Tabitha Igoii. Mother of the late Carey Micheni, Evans Kimathi (Norway), Doin Kainyu (USA)) Ian Karani (Germany), Dorcas Kinyua (Chuka), Pamela K. Mwenda (Chogoria). Mother-in-law of Esther Njeri Micheni, Charles Kibaara, Gaby Kamundi, Peninah Kawira, James Kinyua and the late Edward Mwenda. Sister-in-law of Nereah, Professor Munyua, Zipporah, Jennifer and Cathy Nkonge. Auntie, Grandmother and Great Grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Kerereni village, Chogoria (Kangai’s residence), Chuka Jayllos Hotel (Messaco) and in Nairobi BuruBuru Phase IV (Zipporah’s Residence) at 5.00pm daily.

The burial service will take place at PCEA Kieni Church on Tuesday 7th March 2017 starting at 11am, followed by burial at her home Kerereni village, Kiroo sub-location, Kiera location, Maara Sub County,Tharaka Nithi County.
