It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elder Mary Wanjiru Kariuki on 27th February 2017 at Nairobi hospital.

Loving wife to David Charles Kariuki (DC) of Nkoroi. Mother of Daniel & Miriam Kamau, late Faith Mugure, Emma Wairimu (USA) and VioletWanjiku. Daughter of the late Isaac Gichiri Wangai and the late Ruth Mugure of Kibichoi – Gatiiguru, Kiambu County. Daughter-in-law of the late Charles Gitiba and Miriam Waruinu of Subukia, Nakuru. Sister of the late James Kamura, Stephen Ndung’u Gichiri, Jane Wanjiku Njuru, Paul Njoroge and Peter Githu. Sister in law of Stephen Muikamba the late Peris Wanjiku, Johnson Nphia, Phyllice Wairimu Karanja. Auntie and grandmother of many. Grandmother of Erica, Mburu, Njugi Kamau Sean Sintei Pasha amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Nkoroi-Ongata Rongai and at PCEA St Andrew’s Church Nairobi on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd March 2017 (only) from 5:30 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on Tuesday 7th March 2017 at 7.00a m. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Nkoroi Church-Rongai at 10:00am and thereafter burial at their home in Nkoroi Kajiado County.
