It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elima Gitiri Kariri on 30/04/2017 at Karira Mission Hospital – Mwea.
Daughter of the late Elikana Kibariki and the late Rael Ciamwonge. Beloved first wife of the late Obadiah Kariri, retired Chief Mbiruri Sub-Location. Co-wife of Triza Kariri and Kaari Kariri. Loving mother of Eudicus Ireri, Jane Nyaga, Christine Wanja, Lucy Rwamba, Jemima Njeri of South Africa. The late Antom, Samuel and Rownson Muriuki.
Mother-in-law of Florence Ireri, Silas Nyaga, Margaret Nyaga, Lucy Muriuki, Purity Muriuki, and Yannick Ndayishimiye of Burundi. Sister of Rebecca, Rahab, Solomon, Jesse. Obed, Japheth, Raphael, Richard, Njagi, Lydia Miceni, Kinyua, Marigu and Peter. Grandmother of nineteen grand children and great grandmother of seventeen children.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Runyenjes opposite Kagaari Primary School, daily from 4p.m and at the Holy Family Basilica Nairobi, St. Kizito Hall from 5.30 p.m. The cortege leaves Karira Mortuary, Mwea on Friday 12th May at 9a.m for a Funeral Service at ACK St. Stephens Kagaari Church at 10.00a.M.The burial takes place thereafter at her home, next to Kagaari ACK St. Stephens Church.
