With sorrowful hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of Elizabeth Wairimu Muriu Chege on July 16, 2017 after a long bravely borne battle with Myasthenia Gravis associated with Aplastic Anemia.

Beloved daughter of the late joed Muria Chege and Peris Nyambura Muriu. Loving mother of John Martin Muriu, Anthony Chege and Penis Nyambura. Sister of the late Grace Nyokabi Charagu, the late Frederick Chege, Kenneth Nganga, Geoffrey Mbugua, Philip Njoroge, James Kinuthia and Susan Wangari. Sister in love of the late James Charagu, Hannah Wanjiku, Marion Njoki, Lucy Nyambura, Jodie Njoroge, the late Speranza Muthoni and Faith Karimi. Mother-in-law of Anne Onsarigo. Aunt of Kenneth Charagu, Christine Charagu, Andrew Charagu Tirus Mbugua, Edward Kamau, Margaret Chege, Mary Chege, Martin Ndereba,Andrew Nganga,Andrew Mbugua, Nyambura Mbugua,Wanpru Mbugua, Muriu Njoroge, Nyambura Njoroge, Elvis Kinuthia, George Njoroge, Wesley Kinuthia, Frederick Kinuthia, Brian Muriu and Frederick Chege among others. Grandmother of Lyssa Wairimu, Stacey,Tai and Manuel among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at the family home in Rumwe- Ondiri, Kikuyu starting at 4pm and at Norwich Union House, Nairobi starting at 5:30pm. The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 9am for the funeral service and burial at the family home in Rumwe Ondiri, Kikuyu.
