Esther Nundu Mbiti

 1910 -2017

We announce with sadness the passing on of Esther Nundu Mbiti.

Wife of the late Thomas Mbiti. Mother of the late Jonathan Man’gee, Hon. justice Tom Mbaluto, Regina Mutua, Beatrice Mueni and Fredrick Muasya. She was also step-mother of Joseph Mwangangi, Willy Mbiti and Nduku among others.

Mother-in-law of Zipporah Man’gee, Margaret Mbaluto, the late Rose Mukui, the late James Mutua, among others. Sister of the late Mutava, the late Mbithi, the late Wambua, Solomon Nthale and Ndumi Mbithi.

Sister-in-law of Ndunda Loki among others. Grandmother of Mbithe, Musau, Nthambi, Loki, Mulika, Katumbi, Musyoki, Mark, Kioko, Mutua, Nthambi, Nthenya, Mweu, Nzula, Kyeni, Esther and many more.

Great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of very many beautiful children.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the residence of Justice Tom Mbaluto, in Kenya-Israel, Machakos County at 5pm from 3rd July for funeral arrangements.

The burial will be held on 7th July 2017 in Kenya-Israel starting at I11am.
