It’s with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we give Glory and Honour to God for the life of Godsent Odero Magolo who was promoted to glory on Wednesday 1st March 2017 after a seven year battle with GIST.
He was the founder of Royal Hometown Limousines and Events Ltd. Secretary of Henzo Kenya Cancer Support Group.
Husband of Amweno Odero. Father of Miriam Adhiambo-Weke Odero of Makini School. Beloved Son of Alice and John-Apollo Magolo of Luoro village, Asembo, Siaya County. Beloved brother of Millicent Omondi of KCB Group, Dr Wilson Magolo, George Omondi, Tom Magolo (USA) and John Odede (USA). Son-in-law of Christine and Samson Olubayi of Kakemer village, Teso North, Busia County. Brother-in-law of lnyaa, Prof. Olubayi, Jared, James, Amai, Ajaa, Amusolo, Prof. George Omondi (UoN), Jael, Winnie, Ruth and AJ. Cousin of the Mboyas, the Owuors, the Kores and many others. Nephew of the Odedes of Uyoma, Chianda, the Aringos of Muhoroni amongst others. Uncle of Angela, Lulu, Tasha, Essie, Dennis, Mich, Brian, Noela, Enock, Jesse, Nick, Jeremy, Lorraine and Alice. A friend and Mentor of many.
Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his Maziwa Gardens Residence on Ngong’ Road from 5.00pm.There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 7th March 2017 at All Saints Cathedral Hall at 5: 30pm to meet the funeral expenses. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 9th March 2017 at All Saints Cathedral at 10 am.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 10th March 2017 at 6.30 am for Siaya County. Burial will be on Saturday, 11th March 2017 at his father’s home in Luoro Village, Central Asembo location, Rarieda, Siaya County.
