It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Grace Mumbua Tama on Tuesday 10^th January 2017 after a long illness bravely borne.

She hails from Ndutoni Village, Masokani sub location, Mumela Location, Kasikeu Division, Makueni County. She was a teacher at Kwambumbu.

She was a teacher at Kwambumbu Primary School. Beloved wife of Simon Muthiani Tama (Retired AEO).

Daughter to the late Charles Nguta Mbai and late Rhoda Nguta of Wautu Village. Daughter-in-law of the late Micheal Muumbi and late Kalewa Muumbi of Masokani sub-location. Mother of Naomi Ndinda (Lam), Benjamin Lumbu (Nakuru), Mirriam Muthoki, Zipporah Nduku, Gloria Mumo, Caroline Mutheu, Angela Mbithe and Daniel Muumbi. Grand Mother to Sharon, Gift, Felix, Wilberfoce, Tracy and Precious. Sister of David Mbai, Regina Ngundo, John Nguta, Benjamin, Late James, Samson, Joseph, Late Kanini, Joshua, Late Mirriam Mueni, Jonathan and Daniel. Sister in law of Benson Muumbi, Late Mathew, Jonathan, Paul, Kisilu, Joseph, Samuel, Dorothy Musimba, Farida Mulai, Teddy Mutie, Annastacia Muumbi among others.

Mother-in-law to Petronila Lumbu, Richard Mutuku, Maureen Kyalo, Faith Kyalo and Carol Mwendwa. Aunt to Stela, Andrew, Mavi, Kyalo, Ndunge, Mwende, Ngundo, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Masokani home and Garden Square Restaurant, Nairobi, for burial preparations.

There will be mini fundraiser at the Garden Square on Wednesday 18th January 2017.

Burial will be held on Friday 20th January 2017 at her home in Masokani starting 10am.
