It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Mayi Grace Namwacha Benjamin, wife of the late Benjamin Walunywa of Kinyikewi Estate that occurred on 20th October 2016.
Daughter of the Late Elam Mufutu and Makirita Nakhanu and co-wife of Christine Benjamin. Sister of the late Christopher Wekhomba, Mary Ndinyo, Norah Khakina , Francis Mufutu Kamata, Rose Juma, and late James Konori Mufutu.
Mother of Beatrice Khakasa Masinde, Dr. Boniface Walunywa , Joseph Wekhomba, Agneta Mufutu, Charles Mwangale, Davis Walunywa, Carolyne Walunywa, Elizabeth Nabukwangwa, Norah Khaemba, James Sangura, the late Nafula Walunywa, Alice Mumaraki, James Sangura, Rose Nambuye, Isaac Murumba, Jane Mukhwana and Mary Mulongo. Step-Mother of Beatrice Walunywa, Dennis Walunywa, Elizabeth Nelima, Andrew Walunywa and Marion Khakasa.
Grandmother of 77 including; Patricia, Faith, Benjamin, Angela, Charles, Diana, Sinclar, Daniel, Michelle, Nina, Jese, Calistus, Hudson, Laura, Sisindi, Joyce, Job, Mungare among others. Great Grandmother of 12 including (random sample); Rose,Wesley, Kellan,Rodgers among others.
Relative and friends are meeting daily at her Kinyikewi home. Cortege left Cherengani Nursing Home on Wednesday 26th, 2016 at 3pm thereafter followed by a funeral Service on Friday 28th, 2016 at Kinyikewi-Endebess.
