Grace Wanjiru Koigi (Shaki)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Wanjiru Koigi (Shaki) on 5th Jan 2017.

Wife of the late Thomas Koigi Karimi (Shaki) of Ngecha Village-Limuru, Kiambu County. Daughter of the late Amos Waruru Kairu and the late Muthoni Waruru. Mother of Mary Nyambura Koigi (USA), David Karimi, Peter Waruru, Charles Koigi (Gatundu District Hospital), Lucy Muthoni (Thika), Margaret Wambui (USA), John Kairu (Shaque Associates), Mary Wandithia (USA), Charles Kahuria, Geoffrey Koigi (Shaque Associates), Joseph Karimi, Henry Njau, Phylis Wamaitha, Mary Nyambura,Wanjiku Kironji. Grandmother of Edith Wanjiru (Ngecha Stalls Kamukunji), Linet Wanjiru (Alliance Girls), Cyrus Ngumba (Embu University) among others. Sister of Rachel Wanjiku, Lucy Wangui, Samuel Gika, the late Peter Ngugi, Mary Wandithia, John Kairu.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Ngecha opposite Orthodox Church from 5 pm.

The cortege leaves Nazareth Hospital Mortuary on Friday 13th Jan 2017 at 9.00 am for burial service at Virgin Mary Orthodox Church Ngecha at 11.00am followed by burial at her home n Ngecha.
