It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Hannah Waithira Mungai. Daughter of the late Kuria Kagiri and the late Wambui Ngururi. Sister of the late Jonah Kagiri, Ibrahim Ngururi, the late Njeri Nagi, the late Gathoni Munania, Anne Wanjiru Kinuthia, John Mwangi and Ruth Wangeci.

Wife of the late Bedan Mungai. Co-wife of the late Mariam Wanjiru. Mother of Phylis Wambui, Joel K Mungai (formerly of OUP), Naftali Mureithi (Kinangop), Patrick Mungai (Creative Publishers), Charles Maina (Gituru Secondary), Simon Kamau, David Ngururi, Peter Mwangi and John Mungai (KCC, Kiganjo).

Step-mother of Salome Njeri (Ol Kalou), James Mureithi (Ol Kalou), Noumi Wairimu, Daniel Njoroge and Sammy Mungai (Equity Bank, Industrial Area Nbi). Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at the family home in Kigoro village, Gatanga sub-county, Murang’a County. The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home,Thika, on Friday 31/ 3 /20 17 at 8am, for burial at the family home in Kigoro village, Gatanga sub-county, Murang’a County.
