It is with humble acceptance. of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Hildah Wanjiku Kiarie on Wednesday 8th March 2017.

Wife of the Late Hezekiah Kiarie Magayu. Daughter of the late Kilimanjaro and the late Wacu. Sister of the late Wairaina Kilimanjaro, the late George Mathari, the late Joseph Thugu and the late James Kabii. Mother of Magayu Magayu (UoN), Esther Wangui (Rtd Principal), Leah Mbaire and Late Kamande Kilimanjaro, Susan Njeri (London), Bishop Joel Waweru (ACK Nairobi Diocese) and Tabitha Waweru (KTTC), Samuel Mugo Kiarie and Lydiah Njeri Mugo (Murang’a), Stanley Wainaina Kiarie (Naivasha), John Ng’ang’a Kiarie and Elizabeth Muthoni (Uhuru Market), Lucy Wambui Kiarie (G4S), George Mathari Kiarie and Patricia Nyokabi (Page Signs), Eng. David Mungai Kiarie and Caroline Muthoni, Joseph Thugu Kiarie and Faith Muthoni. Grandmother of many and a great grandmother.

Friends and relatives will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral Hall on Tuesday 14th March 2017 and Wednesday 15th March 2017 at 5.00pm for prayers and burial arrangements. There will also be meetings at her Kaharati (Mumbu village) home.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Friday 17th March 2017 at 7.30am for a funeral service at 10.00am at her homestead – Kaharati, Murang’a County, (Mumbu Village) and for the funeral thereafter.
