Ibrahim Momanyi Okeri (“Maigama”)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr Ibrahim Momanyi Okeri (Formely of KEFRI) which occured on 23rd June 2017.

Son of the late Okeri Mwamba and Kemunto Okeri. Son-in-law of Monyangi Okumu and the late Okumu Nyareru.

Beloved husband of the late Tabitha Momanyi. Loving father of Anne (Avenue Health Centre), Kennedy (Barclays), Robert (National Treasury), Risper and Joshua. Brother of Jerusa Motari, the late Eng. Peter Okinyi, the late Eunice, John Okeri, Moruri, Mwamba, Onyambu and the late Ngeresa.

Brother-in-law of Susan Okinyi, Jones Motari, Josephine, Omwando, Nyabuti, Edward (USA), Jackline among others. Korera of Kasovi Mwendwa, Pauline Mwendwa, David Nyakeri and Pasificah Kemunto.

Cousin of Mwamba, Moruri, Pirisi, Ogoro, Omwenga, Barongo, Ochengo, Ombuori among others.

Uncle of Dr. Lilian, Wycliff, Emma, the late Dennis, George, Gerald, Susan, Job, Dick, Moruri, Isaboke, Dan. Ogesi, Edward Mwamba, Nahashon, Chief Okeri, Ken among others.

Father-in-law of Mwende and Castro Nyanumba. Grandfather of Gloria,Arthur, Praise, Dr. Peter Maturi among others.

Friends and Family are meeting daily at the family home in Miriri, Donholm and Garden Square at 5pm.

The main fund raising will be held on Wednesday 28th June at Professional Centre from 5pm.

The burial will take place on Friday 30th June 2017 at his home at Miriri (Library Village),Nyaguku Sub Location,Nyamira County.
