Son of Blanche Wangechi Methu (in USA) & the late Elijah Methu Karoga (deceased) of !chichi Village Murang’a. Loving husband of Elizabeth Wakio Mshila-Methu. Father of Marga Wangechi Methu, Derek Githiga Methu, Willy Leader Mshila Methu and Grandfather of Liz Wakio Maringa. Brother of Grace Wangui Ndanganga, Peninah Wangari Karoga, Anne Gacambi Methu, Benson Karoga Methu (deceased), Vicky Njoki Methu-McDonald, Susan Wanjiku Methu, Tabitha Muguri Methu (deceased) and Val Njeri Methu. Brother-in-law of Mkamburi and Frankline Lyabaya, David and Abigail Mshila, Ben and Andrea Mshila, Dorothea Mshila, Edith and John Johnson, Salome and Evans Mwatati.
The memorial service in Nairobi, Kenya, will be held at AIC Ziwani Church, November 10, 2016 at 14:00 – 17:00 hours. And the memorial service in the USA will be held at Mariners Church Irvine-Community Center Hall, November 12, 2016 at 12pm-3pm.
