Isabellah Mukhongo

It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of isabellah Mukhongo of Bungoma on 30th April 2026, who was until her demise the Chief Supply Chain Management Officer in the Office of the Governor, County Government of Bungoma.

Daughter of Joseph Wanyarna Mukhongo and Madam Gladys Nafula Mukhongo, retired head teacher Buchangu primary school. Daughter-in-law of the late John Wekesi Malaba and the late Mama Judith Wekesi.

Beloved wife off-VVekesi Michael — Bungoma County. Dotting mother of Johann, Davineh and Reinah.

Sister of Caren Mukhongo (KEMSA), Dr, Nanyarna Mukhongo (Kisumu County), Bradley Mukhongo (Public Service Commission), Valentine Mukhongo (Kenya Prison Service) and Gloria Mukhongo among others.

Sister-in-law of Wekesi Pius, Virginia, Nicholas, the late Benard, Francis, the fate Everlyne, Titus, Carolyne, Edward, Stephen and the late joseph;Titus Mumelo and John Malaba among others.

Loving auntie of Chelsea, Louis, Raphael, Dylan, ohn, Johan and Jewel among others. She was a dependable friend, colleague, niece and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their family home in Siboti’ Village – Bumula Constituency for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Delight Funeral home on Friday 15th May 2026 at 9.00 am for a funeral mass at Christ the King Cathedral church Bungoma from 10 am. Final internment rites and burial ceremony will take place on Saturday 16th May 2026 at their farnily home in Siboti village, Bumula Constituency – Bungoma County.
