James Muiruri Karanja

We regret to announce the death of the retired teacher James Muiruri Karanja which occurred on 10/04/2017. After a short illness.

Husband of the late Jane Nyakwea Muiruri. Father of Rose Gichu (Coast Girls), Stephen Karanja (Ngong’), Peter Muiruri (Mombasa Superhighway Riders), Andrew Mungai (Kisauni), Lucy Wanjiku (Kitale School), Isaac Gichuki (St Rose Academy- Gatarakwa).

Father-in-law of Jervas Ngatia (Centre Line Tea Brokers, Mombasa), Irene Kibiri among others. Brother of Mirriam Wanjiku Tama, late John Mungai, Angelica Muthoni, Francis Gathenya, late Joseph Karanja and Isaac Chege.

Former head teacher Rodama Primary, Ruiri Primary, Birisha primary, Kiahuko Primary respectively.

Prayer meetings are ongoing at his home in Birisha. The cortege leaves Nyeri Referral hospital on 18^th April 2017 at 8am for funeral service and burial at his Birisha farm.
