It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Jane Atieno Bala that occurred on 9/11/2016 at Avenue Hospital (Kisumu) after a short illness.
Daughter of the late Benjamin Anguk and the late Mama Eliseba Anguk of Kanyikela Rapedhi. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Bala Olambo. Co-wife of the late Mary Atieno Ndolo Nyar Kano Kobura.
Loving mother of Lydia Ajulu (Archie), Valentine Manase, Joyce Odhong of Nyasare Primary School, Collins Bala of Migori County Government, Wycliffe Bala of Kenya Prisons ( Siaya), Rebecca Bala, Emmanuel Bala of World Vision (Nairobi), Samora Bala of Kenya Police (Rarieda), Benjamin Bala of Stanbic Bank (Nakuru), James Bala of Rwanda and the late Joyce Bala.
Sister of the late Tukiko Ochola,Tabitha Opere, Caleb Anguk, Esther Ayallo, the late Priscah Adega, Julia Ogola and Joyce Ogutu. Aunty of the Ayallos, the Ocholas, the Operes, the Ogolas, the Ogutus and the Olambos.
Mother-in-law of Penina Omondi, Halima Olambo, Mary Otieno, Scholastica Machel, Effie Anguk, Danstan Ajulu, Tom Odhong’ and Caleb Manase.
Sister-in-law of Barack Olambo, Zephaniah Olambo, Nyota Olambo, Dickson Olambo, Norah Lando, Ludia Kawaka, Helen Opollo, the late Rose Olambo among others.
Grandmother of Peggy, Malcolm, Harvey, Audrey, Chelsea, Tamira, Adrian, Wayne, Jayden, Gavin, Cherise, jamari, Darelle, Donovan, Shawn and Myesha.
Family and friends will meet on Friday 18/ 11/16 at Girango Hotel, Migori town for a fundraiser at 3pm to offset funeral expenses.
The cortege leaves Ombo Mission Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 22/11/2016.
Burial will be on Wednesday 23/1112016 at her home in Akala village, North Kadem Nyatike, Migori County.
