We regret to announce the death of Jane Kimooi Kipkoech which occurred on Thursday 16th March 2017, Daughter of the late Cheptoo Arap Mukumoi and late Sote Cheptoo. Step daughter of late Kobilo Cheptoo. Wife of John Kipkoech Chelagat of Kapkokorwo Village, Kaptimbor, Kabarnet Ward.

Mother of Sarah Soi, Christine Kitubei (KFS) Salina Kipkemei (FOREWO), Cpl. Rose Tuwei (KPS Ngeria), Priscillah Koech (Kabarnet Deaf School), Sgt. Joseph Chepkirwok (KDF), Saphina Chelagat (MCA Baringo), Solomon Koech, Julius Koech (Base Commander – Mtito Andei) and Emily Koech of WRMA Nakuru.

Sister of the late Kimooi Chelelgo, the late Kimooi Chemjor, Kimooi Ayabei, the late Kimooi Cheptoo, the late Chepsergon Cheptoo, Chelang’a Cheptoo, the late Esther Kimooi Cheptumo, Kimooi Komen and Kigen Cheptoo. Mother in law of Joel Soi, Japhet Chepkonga, late Joshua Chepyegon, SSP Andrew Tuwei (KPS Ngeria), Justus Songoko, Leah Chepkirwok, Harun Rutto (RPM /Posta Nakuru), Margaret Kimutai (Kabarnet Deaf School) Rachel Kimosop (Mama Lucy Hospital Nairobi) and Vincent Kiprop (KDF).

Sister in law of the late Cheboiwo, the late Tapkigen Kimusmus, the late Cheboi, Taprandich Lechumba, Sura Abdilai, Tapsimei Kimuge, late Sote Cherutich, the late Kandagor Chelagat, the late Sote Chepsoi, the late Chesang’, the late Songoka, Cherono, late Charles Mursoi, Jonathan, late Goliath, Limo, Symon Mursoi, late David and Joshua Mursoi. Grandmother of Pius, Nancy, Jepkoech, Morgan (Aspirant MP Soi Constituency), Sophie (Iten), the late Kibet, Brian, Kimosop,Victor, Gloria, Juliet Kitubei (KDF), Gladys Kipkemei (KCB Bomet) Faith and 45 others. Great grandmother of 44 Grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers at her home in Kapkokorwo Village, Kaptimbor. The cortege leaves Kabarnet District Hospital on Saturday 25th March 2017 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at her home in Kapkokorwo Village, Kaptimbor Kewamoi Location, Kabarnet Ward.
