Joel Wambugu Gatama

The Gatama Family announces the Promotion to Glory of Joel Wambugu Gatama of Gichigo C, Icaciri Village, Gatundu South which occurred on 8th April 2017 after an illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Moses Gatama and late Rhoda Wanja Gatama. Son-in-law of the late David Wathigo and Grace Wanjiru. Husband of the late Elizabeth Mukuhi Wathigo. Father of Hellen Wanjiru, the late Moses Gatama, Dennis and Oglah Wathigo.

Brother of Annie Njambi Kihiu, Karugor Gatama, Newton Gatama, Daniel Gatama, Salome Kibe, Grace Kambo, Nellie Maina, Charity Gatama and Simon Gatama. Brother-in-law of Nathaniel Kihiu, Rachael Gatama, Jane Gatama, Pity Gatama, late Jacob Kibe, Jacob Kambo, Daniel Maina and Hannah Gatama. Grandfather of Bryanna, Kemi and Dylan, uncle and cousin of many.

Family and friends will be meeting at PCEA St Andrews Church, Nairobi, from 5.00 p.m. starting Tuesday 11th April 2017 and also at his Rural home Gichigo C.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday, 13th April 2017 at 7.30am for funeral service and burial at his rural home, Icaciri Gatundu Gichigo C from 10am.
