John Henry Onyuero Odera

With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of John Henry Onyuero Odera.

Son of the late Martin Odera Ogola and the late Mama Alice Orimba Odera. Loving husband of Pauline Odera. Father of the late James Martin Odera, Elizabeth (Adhis) and Dennis Omondi, Winnie Odera, Dr Freda Odera, Effie and Fred Obwora and Lucy Odera. Grandfather of Tracy Akinyi, Collete Omondi, Shawn Omondi and Hawi Odera. Brother of Caren Warinda, Jorum Okumu Odera, the late Perez Akinyi, Janet Apondi and Pamela Anyango. Son-in-law of the late William and Louisa Agara of Alego, Kalkada. Brother in law of Steve Agara, Paul Agara, Janet Lenya, Pacifica, Oduor, Jacinta, Jack, Camlus and others.

The cortege leaves the Aga Khan mortuary Kisumu at 11am on Friday 3rd March for a funeral service at St Andrews Catholic Parish, Bondo, at 1pm then proceeds to his home in Sakwa Kapiyo, Ugambe village.

Burial will take place on Saturday 4th March 2017.
