John Kimani Hinga

t is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that gave announce the passing on of John Kimani Hinga on 8th November 2016 at his home in Plainsview Estate, South B, Nairobi. Formerly of Starehe Total Service Station (Euroma Enterprises Ltd).

Son of the late Godfrey Hinga Waiganjo and the late Mary Mugure Hinga (Ndira). Husband of Jane Wanjiku Kimani. Father of Eunice Mugure Kimani, Rosemary Njeri Kimani-Dupuis, and Kelvin Muiruri Kimani. Grandfather of Jonathan Hinga Kimani Dupuis. Father-in-law of Dennis Dupuis. Brother of (all deceased) Ngugi Hinga (Gitatui), Virginia Wanjiku Hinga, Wanyoike Hinga (Muthufare), Michael Wang’ang’a Hinga, and Francis Mwaura Hinga. Half-Brother of Joseph Wanyoike Hinga, Esther Wanjiru Hinga and Patrick Kimani   Hinga. Step-son of Wangari Hinga (Wakimani). Brother-in-law of the late Eunice Njoki Ngugi, Lucy Wangui Ng’ang’a, and Phyllis Nduta waura.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 6pm at his home in South B, Hse No. 765 Mazinga Road and Clarion Hotel (opposite Jeevanjee Gardens) Nairobi on Wednesday 16 November 2016 from 6pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday 18th November 2016 at 8am for a funeral Mass at Consolata Shrine, Westlands 10am.

Burial will follow thereafter at Gitogothi Farm, Kwambira, Limuru.
