It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joyce Muthoni Muturi of Gichira, Nyeri County, which occurred on 23rd December 2016. Daughter of the late Samuel Muturi Mutonga and the Late Ruth Wangechi Muturi. Wife of Moses Muturi Muguro. Mother of Gladys Maina of Gichira, Beatrice Waigwa formerly of NBK, Lucy Muturi (Business Lady), Jane Muturi of NSSF, Bernard Muturi of Bein Insurance, Eunice Muturi (Business Lady), Ann Nduta (Business Lady), Veronica Karoki (Business Lady), Florence Guandaru of LSK Nairobi and Kihoro Muturi of Josma Electricals. Mother-in-law of Maina, Waigwa, Njeri, Maina, Wycliff, Guandaru and Mary. Sister of Mutonga, Wangai, Murichu, Gachuhi Muturi, Wairimu, Gachambi and Wangui. Doting grandmother of Dave, A. Muturi, George, Wahome, Nyambura, Ngunjiri, C. Muturi, Wanini, Wangari, M. Muturi, Sharon, T. Muthoni, Shantelle, Alexis, Mark, Mitchelle, Lewis, Leo, Soni and Kui. Great grandmother of Ciru.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kokeb Restaurant Nakuru from 5.30 pm. The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home, Nyeri, on Friday 30/12/2016 at 9am for funeral mass at Gichira Catholic Church and thereafter burial at her home in Ichira Village,Tetu Division, Aguthi Location.
