Husband of Zipporah Kanini. Father of the late Charles Murithi, Ambrose Mwaniki (Embu), Lilian Wanja (Kakamega Level 5 hospital), Paul Dickson Mucoki (Kibabii University Bungoma). Brother of Teresia Mutitu, Gladys Muthoni, Joshua Njiru, Rachel Wanjira, the late Nelson Nyaga, Margret Wachuka and Cathrene Wandiri. Dad -in-law of Michael Mwangi (Kakamega Level 5 hospital) and Nancy Muthoni (Embu). Brother-in-law of the late Jane Gaturi, Justus Muriuki, Mary Gicuku, the late Harrison Kiura and Shandrak Nyaga Kiura (Shanyaki). Grandfather of Terry Nyawira, Beatrice Wothaya and Patience Mumbi,

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Canan hotel Embu at 6.00prn and at his home Kiangima-Embu stating at 3.00pm.The cortege leaves Gakwegori funeral home on Tuesday 31st January 2017 at 9.00am for funeral services and burial at his home Kiangima village near St. Mary’s girls Embu County.
