It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Linda Monalisa Mboya which occurred on 12 July, 2025.
She was the mother of Violet Akinyi Mboya and daughter of Florence Mboya and the late unionist Charles Mboya. She was the sister of George Mboya. Andrew Mboya, Davies Mboya and Dianne Mboya.
Linda was the niece of Prof. LA Odero Ogwel, Salome Odiawo, Yucabeth Ouko, Dan Ojijo Penina Omondi, Grace Odhiambo, Emma Odhiambo, Rhoda Bungei Odhiambo, Miriam Nyabwa, Catherine Otieno, Jenipher Ojijo and the late: Japheth Odhiambo, Susana Aluoch, Gershon Nyabwa and Mark Otieno. She was also the niece of Mary Dieto, Grace Okello, Herine Ogembo, Beldine Owuor, Charles Orwe, Jane Owilli, Olivia Ranguma, Geoffrey Orwe, Dorothy Ombajo-Orwe, Risper Orwe, the late Moses Ogungo Orwe, Samson Owuor, HE Jack Ranguma, Fred Ayiera, Evans Ayiera and Dina Ayiera.
Linda was cousin of Marie Auma, Apeles Ouko, Bob Dieto, Millicent Nyauke, Caroline Okello, Elly Okello,Tracy Ouko, Sharon Owuor, Maureen Owuor, Moses Orwe, Fred, Laura, Avril; Moses Owilli, Michael, Maryeve; the late Sonnia Ranguma,Tanya; Collins Orwe, Ryan, Nesta, and Joel; John Odhiambo Ogwel, Jim, Leo, Ken Polycap, Nancy, Bertha, David, Rachel, Charles Jr. and Andrew Obuya; Chris Odero and Anna Odero; Pamela, Judy, Lauren, Andrew Ojijo, Rachel, Emily Omondi, Steve, Hebert, Tito, Hellen, Charles Ouko, Pamela; Joshua Otieno, Derrick, Rose Akinyi Otieno among others.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Raila Odinga Road at 6:00 am on 7th August 2025; burial will take place on 8th August 2025 in Wang Adonji Village, Kendu Bay.
