Lydia Wangu Wambugu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lydia Wangu Wambugu of Njoro. Daughter of the late Kabuchu Wa Machira and Julia Muthoni of Nyeri. Loving wife of Arthur Wambugu. Mother of Jane Mukami (Amaco), Julia Muthoni (Naivasha), Grace Wangeci (USA), the late Johnson Muiga, Beatrice Nyawira (Nominated MCA Nakuru) and Abraham Maina (KPC). Sister of Grace Wamuyu, Rose Wakiuru, Agnes Wangeci, the late Beatrice Nyawira, Murage Kabuchu and Marii Kabuchu. Mother-in-law of David Thogoto (Nakuru), Simon Mwangi (Oserian), Paul Mwangi (USA), the late Joshua Njenga (Turi) and Sally Wairimu. Grandmother of Catherine, Johnjoe, Ian, AnnMarie, Dilane, Daisy, Eliud, Arthur and Ivy Wangu. Great grandmother of Natasha Mukami. Friends and family are meeting daily from 5pm at their residence in Njoro for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday 24th February 2017 at 8am. Funeral service and burial will take place thereafter at their farm near Sian Roses in Njoro.
