It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Major (Rtd) Peter Shilombole Nandi (Mustaafu) after a long battle with cancer on 25th November 2016.
Beloved husband of Christine Lukanji Nandi. Loving father of Patrick (Kenya Police), Patricia ( Principal Ngeria Girls), Late Nixon, Phedelis (Ahero), Late Felix, Hon. John Paul (judiciary Oyugis ), Praxedes, late Innocent Nandi and Eunice. Father in law of Joyce (Kapsabet Boys), Eric Omondi (Kitale), Adelaide (judiciary), Irenejudith, Ruth Eusebia and Hosea Shitemi. Son of Late Gaetano Shilombole and Late Rebecca Shimunzali. Brother of late Jairo & Leonida, Timna & late Luvonga, Tabitha & late Atsango, late Charles & Pauline, late Hosea & Leonida and late Sejero. Doting grandfather of Ian, Edwin, Melvin, Fabby, Christine, Sheila, Brian, Peter, Patricia, Felecia, Jojo, Tosh, Kabash, Trevor, Blessings, Bertha, Bebe, Noela, Fortunetus, Rebecca among others. Uncle of the Luvongas, the Atsangos, Imbalis, Hoseas, Njelis and Sejeros among others.
The cortege leaves Kakamega County Referral Hospital Mortuary on today, Thursday 1st December 2016 at 11am for a requiem mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church Murhanda.
Burial service will be at Injira Primary School on 3rd December 2016 from 9am. He will be laid o rest at his home Busalwa, Kakamega East Sub County.
