MAMA EVA PRISCILLA MBOTELA MUMANYI

We regret to announce the death of Mama Eva Priscilla Mbotela Mumanyi, which occurred at the Coast General Hospital on 2nd November 2016.

Daughter of the late Tom Mbotela and the late Mama Grace Mbinya Mbotela of Frere Town, Kisauni – Mombasa. Wife of the late Mzee Arnold Joseph Mumanyi. Loving mother of the late Serah, the late Grace, Caroline (USA), the late Mildred, Tom (USA) and Annie (ICRC). Step mother of Martin, the late Andrew, the late David and Charles. Sister to Annie, the late Lilly, the late Mercy, the late Frere, Gladys, the late Dorcas, Victoria, Florence and the late Fridah. Niece to the late James, the late Walter, the late John, the late David, the late Beatrice Noah Hill, the late Jonah, the late Lawrence and the late Charles Mbotela. Auntie to James Olulu, Mitchel Uledi and Doris among others. Cousin to Leonard Mambo Mbotela, Denis, Jimmy, Eliza, Charles, Joe Tsola and Olive among others. Sister-in-law to Uledi, Naswa, Chadhoro, Donald Muthengi (Athi River), Nundu, Wambi, the late Andrew Nyamwaro, Ambrose Nyankerania and Lucas Omanga (Athi River) among others. Loving grandma to Lilly, Sammy (Canada), Tom, Mitchel, Arnold Washo, Sarah, Lembus (Germany), Arnold Kazungu Ngao, Robert Alister, Ezekiel, Dorothy (Rome), Bessie, Shirley, Tom Jnr, Hamid (Didi) Kevin (USA), Dominic and Stephanie among many others. Mother-in-law to Jimmy Washo, the late Chris Nafwa, Fladdy Katende, Marie Mbilu, Jude Boy, Mary Martin, Mary Moraa, Millicent Olulu among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home at Hadija Estate, Kisauni Mombasa for funeral arrangements. A final meeting to assist the family meet the medical bill and funeral expenses, will be held tomorrow Tuesday 15th November, 2016 at the All Saints Cathedral meeting hall starting 5pm.

The cortege leaves Jocham Funeral Home on Saturday 19th November 2016 at 8.30 am for a stop-over at her home, Hadijah Estate Kisauni for prayers and viewing.

A requiem mass shall be held at ACK Emmanuel Church – Kengeleni starting 12.30 pm. The burial shall be at the family corner at Frere Town Cemetery, Kisauni at 3 pm on the same day. Mpesa contributions may be sent to Annie Mumanyi Tel. No. 0722 776 188
