It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of glory of Sister-in-Christ Mama Yuniah Atieno Ndhine on Thursday 15th June 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Mzee Erastus Ndhine Oboke of Kapiyo sub-location, Kabonyo, Arombo school, Kisumu County. Co-wife of Mama Janet Ndhine. Sister of Eunice (Tanzania), Eudiah Alego (Chemelil) and Jared Oluoch (Masara). Sister-in-law of Dr. Peter Alego Auko (Kakamega), the late Sephenia Oboke and Omola Oboke. Mother of the late Dr. Eric Alsewo Riaga Ndhine, Sospeter, Jerry and Emily, Leonard Ochanjo, Millicent Oguta (KPLC Kisumu), Charles Odhiambo, Tom Oboke Ndhine (Ministry of Water and Irrigation-Nairobi), Bethwel Nyatteng’ (KDF Gilgil), Lilian Awino, Florence Ndhine (National Registration Bureau-Nairobi). Step-mother of Teddy Ndhine, Dan Ndhine (CCL Westlands), Irene (Royal City Hotel), Dorothy Ndhine (ICCAP-Nyanza), Edwina Oboke (Egerton University), Olivia Adhiambo (Lake Market-Ksm),Asenaih (Moi University),Viola (Kenyatta University). There will be a Harambee to offset funeral expenses at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 4th July 2017 from 5pm. The cortege leaves Star Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 7th July 2017 at 12 noon for a funeral service at the home Church – St Luke Church,Arombo Parish at 2pm. The burial will take place on Saturday 8th July 2017 at her home in Kano-Kabonyo, Kapiyo Sub-location,Arombo School.
