Marion Waithira Gacheru
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to heavenly abode of Marion Waithira Gacheru on the morning of 5th January, 2017 at the Aga Khan University Hospital following long illness bravely borne.
Daughter of the late Hezekiah Mundia and Hannah Wanjiru. Wife of the late David Gacheru Mbugua (City Radiators). Mother of Booker Mbugua (VAS Group/Frabo and Company), Mary Njeri Kimindiri, Anne Wanjiru, the late Duncan Mundia, Jane Nduta Nderitu, Samuel Githegi, Zipporah Wairimu Njoroge, Stanley Thuo (City Radiators) and Agnes Nyokabi.
Daughter-in-law of the late Booker Mbugua Githegi and the late Mary Njeri (Gakia).
Mother-in-law of Irene Mbugua, the late Danson Kimindiri, Catherine Mundia, George Nderitu, Moses Njoroge and Maryanne Thuo.
Sister of the late Stanley Njenga, Zipporah Wairimu, Edith Wanjiku, Tabitha Njeri, the late Elizabeth Wambui and Josphat Mungai.
Sister-in-law of Samuel Githegi Mbugua, James Ngaruiya, the late Jane Wanjiru Kaguru, Allan Njoroge, Simon Ndung’u, Geoffrey Kariuki and the late Patrick Kamau.
Beloved aunt, grandmother and great grandmother of many.
Friends and relatives are meeting for condolences and daily prayers at her home in Riara Ridge near Nazareth Hospital, Limuru, from 4p.m.
There will be a prayer service on Sunday at 3pm.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, 10th January, 2017 at 8am. Funeral service will be held at P.C.E.A ltungi Church, Riara Ridge Parish at 10.30am followed by burial at her home in Riara Ridge.
Fare thee well Marion, in God’s hands you rest, while you remain in our hearts forever.
